Mark Scarbrow – Director
Mark has worked in the employment industry since 1989, his experience encompassing all aspects of the business. He is an experienced recruiter of both temporary and permanent staff as well as an accomplished outplacement consultant and careers Advisor.
A co-founder of Optimum Potential in 1990, Mark built the company into the most successful and reputable recruitment business in the engineering industry. He continues to operate as a permanent recruiter, personally handling campaigns for clients in various markets including aviation, manufacturing, building services and waste management and in addition is an experienced head hunter, who regularly completes senior level assignments.
Mark’s outplacement experience covers many industries and levels of seniority and additionally he works as careers advisor to The Premier League, assisting the UK’s elite academy footballers in alternative career planning.
Mark is responsible for leading OSS, ensuring that our service continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of our customers.
Karen Scarbrow – Director
With extensive experience in Administration, Recruitment and HR Karen manages the Events/Hospitality Division, and is the first point of contact for HR/Payroll queries whilst keeping the office running smoothly.

Francesca has over 12 years experience in placing senior and entry level staff both in the UK and internationally. Practiced in the development of strong relationships with candidates and clients alike, she strives to achieve a detailed understanding of both client and candidates requirements, ensuring the best match for both parties.

Jane Blackburn – Payroll & Accounts Administrator
Jane’s sound background in Finance and Administration makes her an invaluable member of the Team, with responsibility for all things related to Accounts.
Ruby is the office cockapoo and performs many vital functions, such as shredding paper, helping staff with lunches and snacks, greeting visitors and having her tummy tickled.
